TERRITORIAL COMMMAND: THE FIRST REGIONAL GOVERNORS ARE APPOINTED
The President of the Republic on Friday 5 February 2010, signed Decree No. 2010/040 to appoint Regional Governors. It is an important instrument in the sense that it concretizes the administrative reorganization of the State into Regions, in lieu and place of Provinces, in conformity with Decree No. 2008/376 of 12 November 2008 on the administrative organization of the Republic of Cameroon.  This Decree conforms to Decree No.2008/377 still of 12 November 2008 to determine the powers of heads of administrative units and to lay down the organization and functioning of their services.

2010 STATE DRAFT BUDGET: MINATD’S ROAD MAP UNVEILED
As part of the 2010 draft finance law review, the Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, on Wednesday 25 of this month, defended before the MPs of the Finance and budget Committee the draft budget of his ministry. After a little above three hours of exchanges with the honourable members of the Committee, M. Marafa Hamidou  Yaya persuaded them to allocate to his ministry the budget sought to accomplish its missions during the coming budget year.
